Did you know today marks the first day of the Fall season? I love the chilly mornings and cooler evenings. You know, the type of weather that pulls the sweatshirts out of the closet, once again? Enjoy taking those back roads with the windows down, to take in the fall fragrances, as you watch the leaves change colors this season. How about those nights cuddled up with your family or friends to watch a good movie? I think that cozy weather means films become a more central part of our lives. Though fall may be an indicator of winter coming, here are two great films that will keep your heart warm.
Skid Row Marathon: http://skidrowmarathon.com/
When a criminal court judge starts a running club on LA’s notorious skid row and begins training a motley group of addicts and criminals to run marathons, lives begin to change. Skid Row Marathon follows four runners as they rise from the mean streets of LA to run marathons around the world, fighting the pull of homelessness and addiction at every turn. Their story is one of hope, friendship, and dignity.

A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood : https://www.abeautifulday.movie/
Tom Hanks portrays Mister Rogers in A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood, a timely story of kindness triumphing over cynicism, based on the true story of a real-life friendship between Fred Rogers and journalist Tom Junod. After a jaded magazine writer (Emmy winner Matthew Rhys) is assigned a profile of Fred Rogers, he overcomes his skepticism, learning about kindness, love and forgiveness from America’s most beloved neighbor.
This film comes out on November 22nd! This will be the perfect Thanksgiving film to take your whole family to see.
As fall weather approaches I hope you are able to see one of the incredible films coming out soon!
